How did we experience the perfect vacation? Well, as my 60th birthday was approaching, my wife, Lyn, asked where I wanted to go. My immediate response was “Let’s go back to Italy.” Having toured the country a few times already, we decided for this occasion, we would like a small group experience mixing some traditional venues with the Tuscan countryside. After notifying my son and his fiancé of our plans, the trip quickly morphed from a birthday celebration to include an Italian wedding with guests.

Through a life-long friend, we were introduced to Claudio and Marco, the geniuses behind Whatscookin’. Claudio and Marco provided us with the most memorable trip. With their expert knowledge of local foods, vendors, towns, and wineries, along with their expert cooking classes, we managed to have the wedding and birthday of a lifetime. Claudio and Marco’s unique planning skills and their expertise in developing customized itineraries and menus resulted in a relaxed intimate vacation for our group.
